Hello, Linux 5.4.70_2.3.0 BSP is installed IMX8M Mini. galcore.gpuProfiler=1 is set in u-boot and as well as export VIV_PROFILE=1 in Linux environment. With glmark2-es2-wayland, I can find the vpd files.
~# ls -lh *.vpd
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 128 Jul 1 09:23 vprofiler_838_1.vpd
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 19M Jul 1 09:23 vprofiler_838_2.vpd
However the GPU utilization in VPD Analyzer is always 0% when vpd file is loaded. That is obviously not true as glmark2-es2-wayland does use GPU for rendering. The same test on iMX8M Plus shows GPU load varying from 10% to 70%. Doesn't the iMX8M Mini's GPU GC7000NanoUltra support such profiling? Thanks!
Hello banhu,
Please take a look that If you put in uboot galcore.powerManagement=0, Sometime give you some data on vpd, however this feature is not available on GC7000Nano, It suppose to be fully supported in next release of the gpu driver, you can try the 5.10.35 BSP.
Regards
Hi @Bio_TICFSL , thanks for replying. I will try 5.10.35 BSP later. galcore.powerManagement=0 in -uboot doesn't generate GPU utilization data.
