Hi,
I’m trying to connect Variscite iMX8 board to eDP screen (InnoLux N140HCA).
I’m using Debian release from Variscite (http://variwiki.com/index.php?title=Debian_Build_Release&release=RELEASE_STRETCH_V1.0_DART-MX8M)
The kernel printouts say that the display system has successfully initiated, I can see correct display parameters including display type, rate, resolution etc, but the screen stays black with no signs of life. The same software works correctly with DP screen.
Is eDP supported by NXP Linux? Is there any “off the shelf” iMX8 based solutions with eDP connection? I’m looking for any hints about eDP enabling with iMX8
Hello Alex Gutman,
The Variscite i.MX8 board is manufactured and supported by Variscite. I would recommend that you reach to them as you would need to check if the port is enabled in their BSP.
My apologies for the inconvenience.
Regards,
