iMX6 framebuffer / HDMI color correction

Hi guys,

I have an iMX6 based board where I use an HDMI display. The color saturation is extreme on this display, and I'd like to soften it a little bit. Is it possible to perform a constant software color correction in the iMX6 framebuffer or HDMI output ?
