Hello

I'm trying to use the VPU driver from "iMX 6 Series Platform SDK v1.1.0" for encoding video. But the problem occur.

I want to ask a few questions

1. What platform-specific or processor-specific performance needed to initialize the VPU driver ?

2. Will development of "iMX 6 Series Platform SDK" be continue ?

3. What VPU firmware is used in Linux kernel 3.0.101 ?

And how to change the status of post from "answered" to "not answered" if the answer is not given ?

Thanks in advance.

1) what do you  mean platform-specific performance? but I dont think you need to any performance to initilaize the vpu driver

2) any context?

3) I checked my bsp 4.1.1, the vpulib version is 5.4.16, the firmware version is 2.3.10.40778

Hello,

1. Sorry, I said it wrong. I mean platform-dependent execution of the function e.g. initialization of clocks, signals, platform-dependent parameters of vpu driver and etc. (suddenly I missed something).

2. The SDK software was last modified in 2/11/2013. Will be software updated ? new versions and patches.

3. I mean the BIT processor firmware. CODA960 or another ?

Thank you
