On page 1774 of the iMX53 Reference Manual rev 2.1 dated 6/2012, the following line is at the bottom of the page (in paragraph 39.12.1, AHB Slave Interface):

Description of all user-accessible registers in the design can be found from regs.html

Where can I get a copy of regs.html?

Are you kidding? Freescale sells processors without the information necessary to use them???

Hi Neil

suggest to contact local FAE to obtain more details.

This gpu module is third party IP so info

about it and detailed documentation its registers is license protected.

Freescale provides gpu libraries in binary forms only for

customer usage. For gpu programming OpenGL ES/OpenVG APIs

are used. You can look for examples below

IMX_GPU_SDK : Linux GPU SDK

Chapter 16 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)

mx53_start_linux.pdf

IMX53_1109_LINUXDOCS_BUNDLE

Igor,

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, binary libraries won't do us any good since we are using the processor in an avionics system. The FAA prohibits the use of binary libraries in flight software (see their position paper CAST-21 for details).
