i.mx8M Plus Pin function of B11

Hello NXP Team,

We are designing a Hardware platform using the MIMX8ML6NKZACVB Processor. We require a USB ID pin function for the Host and Slave control of USB devices. There is no separate pin in the SOC pinout.

In EVK Schematics, it is mentioned that pin B11 should not be considered for the USB ID function

But in the Config tool of i.mx8M plus (MIMX8ML6NKZACVB), this B11 pin is configured as a USB ID function.

Could you please confirm which I need to consider for this B11 pin function?

Hello,

USB1_DNU should be left floating since it doesn't work as USB1_ID.

To use this function, a GPIO pin should be used and configured. If USB_DNU signal is connected as USB1_ID will not work.

Please follow the recommendation of the Note.
