i.mx6ul record and playback problem

Hi,

I have a problem when I use i.mx6ul to record and play a sound at the same time.

For example, I use 'aplay' to play 'a.wav', and start to record 'b.wav' with 'arecord'. As a result, what I have in b.wav is the content of a.wav.

Anyone have the same problem or know the solution?

Hello Xiaocong,

    If you want play and record can be operated at the same time, SAI on i.MX6UL should work at Asynchronization mode. RX channel and TX Channel have their own Clock(RXC & TXC, RXFS & TXFS). But if your SAI is working at Synchronization mode, play and record can't be done simultaneously.

Here play and record can work at the same time. The problem is that, what I record is affected by the sound playing.
