As part of the documentation bundle you will find the Yocto Project User’s Guide, which includes instructions on how to build an image for the i.MX6SL.
As part of the documentation you will see also information on how to enable the EPDC inside the documentation. This is to support the NXP EBOOK module for the i.MX6SL (IMXEBOOKDC3-E). If you will be using your own eInk panel you should contact the manufacturer for the timing information and waveform, and have this information parsed for the i.MX6SL, which you can do by opening a Support Case.
