i.mx28 NAND flash programming using JTAG

Hello. I have been asked if it is possible to program the NAND flash using JTAG in a manufacturing environment. We are using an i.mx28 with a NAND flash connected through the GPMI. Has anyone had experience with this process? Is this practical in a MFG environment? We have maintained the standard 8-pin connector from the SDK. Any suggestions on tools or known issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

typical option is to use mfg tools for nand programming

Programmers (Flash, etc.) (6)

i.MX287 Processors|Dual Ethernet|NXP 

unfortunately I am not aware of jtag programming options.
