i.Mx6 support for SDIO interface

Hi,

I have a question. i.Mx6Q (MCIMX6Q6AVT10AD) has 4 uSDHC controller.

Does all the 4 controller support SDIO interfaces ?

I'm connecting a WLAN interface over SDIO to SD1 controller of i.Mx6Q.

So can anyone tell me does it support SDIO on SD1? Where can I get a proof for the same.

Hello Nanjunda M,

Yes, all four uSDHC controllers support MMC/SD/SDIO.

As for connecting a WLAN interface over SDIO to SD1 it is possible and there are third party controllers you may connect to the i.MX6, like for example Silex’s. You may find more information on Silex’s website regarding their modules but there are other WIFI SD modules from third parties that may be able to fulfil your needs.
