i.Mx6 Question

hello, I have a couple of questions:

1- How many threads does i.MX6Solo have?

2- I am looking at i.MX6Solo for an application where I need to process two (real-time) inputs, process it, do some (how speed) computation and then perform a voting logic on the results.

Questions:

2a) Can i.MX6Solo handle this?  or do I need the .MX6Dual so the processing is done by one core and the voting logic is accomplished by the other?

Hi lnguyen,

1. It just has one, as is a single core.

2. We do not have an application note focus on that, sorry for the problems, but the i.MX6 solo can't process 2 inputs at the same time (real-time).

We recommend using the i.MX6 Dual-core to handle this.
