i.MX8QXP secure boot using emmc

Hello NXP team,

We're designing a custom board based on the i.MX8QXP-MEK, but with boot option from emmc only. We'd like to add a Secure Boot functionality in the future for OTA updates. Regarding this:

Are the steps described in this document (i.MX 8, i.MX 8X Secure Boot guide using AHAB) also applicable when booting from emmc? I'm assuming the steps for SD/MMC interfaces are the same regardless of boot media. Is this correct?

Also, is there a guide like this one: (Steps to enable secure boot in i.MX8M Nano) targeting i.MX8X processors?

Hi @guilhermes 

This DOC can be applicable for emmc, except that if you use RPMB partition for emmc.

There is no such DOC like 8m. The Link that you attached above works fine.
