For the i.MX8QM, what is the max allowed current of the internal ESD protection diode

for a GPIO Type 1.8V IO single supply ball?

unfortunately such parameter was not characterized and not described in datasheet.

One can consider 1 mA as safe as described in AN4731 Understanding Injection Current 

sect.3.2 Externally limiting injection current

not, sorry. This data is not characterized and not provided in datasheet.

Also there is no such data for other i.MX processors.

If you wish that such info was added to datasheet, suggest to apply to

local marketing office and provide solid reason for such additions.
