We use Altium Designer for PCB design. We'll copy the NXP's reference design of the CPU board layout. But the design files are in Allegro format. We've converted them to Altium. We'll use the same PCB material (TU768). Please see the images below.
The calculated track widths are different from Allegro's. Should they be equal? For instance, the width of the track is 4.4 mil in Allegro but in Altium, it is calculated as 4.94mil for 50 Ohm impedance. (The etch factor of the top layer was taken 2.5, so the value of 0.4 was entered for calculation in Altium.) Why are they different?
