I have confirmed it for you that, the i.MX8 family do not have the HW design checking list excel file. So sorry. You can refer to the HW development guide i.MX 8M Mini Applications Processor | Arm Cortex A53/M4 | 1080P display | NXP  in our website and see the check list in the https://www.nxp.com/webapp/sps/download/preDownload.jsp?render=true .
