I view the i.MX8 Surround View System in your portfolio. I would known, unlike the development kit,

is possible to connect more than 4 cameras? Is this supported by hardware and by SKD?

Hello Fabio,

So just to clarify, each MIPI-CSI supports 4 data lanes and the default dtb enables the user to connect until 4 cameras using the MX8XMIPI4CAM2 daughter card. For this reason, isi0 to isi3 will be referenced to the MIPI-CSI0 and isi4 to isi7 to MIPI-CSI1. That is the reason you see the isi0 and isi4 being enabled in the fsl-imx8mq-mek-mipi-two-ov5640.dtb.

But is able to support more than 6 cameras with 4 MIPI and 2 Ethernet cameras.
