Hi team,

 

My customer is facing the issue that the camera input error occurs on Android/i.MX6Solo.

Please find the attached file for the detailed description.

Could you give advice to solve this issue?

USB camera?

I/FslCameraHAL( 2263): DeviceAdapter: Create uvc device

The log showed the format is not supported.

E/FslCameraHAL( 2263): Error: format 0x47504a4d not supported!

I guess you mean FSL camera HAL supported format? You can check the source code there, android_src/hardware/imx/mx6/libcamera2

On the customer’s lab, the camera input worked fine in a while.

Then the camera input stopped.

From the phenomenon, it seems that the buffering have problem.

Anyway, can I understand that the user must modify the FSL camera HAL source code located in ‘android_src/hardware/imx/mx6/libcamera2’ ?

As you can see, we have dedicated camera device file there, i.e., Ov5640Csi.cpp, UvcDevice.cpp, Ov5640Mipi.cpp, …

You can check those files for your reference.

You can also use unit test tool firstly to check it.
