Hi community,

Our patner have a question about i.MX6SDL HDMI.
Please see tx_edgerate[1:0] and ck_edgerate[1:0] in HDMI_PHY_CPCE_CTRL register (chapter 35.7.7 in IMX6SDLRM Rev.1).
They want to know how "override" is used.
I understand if override bit (xx_edgerate[1]) is set, the slow or fast edges setting (xx_edgerate[0]) is enabled, isn't it?
But I don't understand how the edges becomes when the override bit is cleared.
Would you let me know it?

Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda

Hello Satoshi San,

Yes your understanding it is correct.  If the override bit it is set no matter if you have slow or fast edges settings this are not taking care.

Hello jamesbone,

Thank you for your reply.

I understood your reply means "if the override bit is set, slow or fast edges setting is ignored".

But I think "if the override bit is 'cleared', slow or fast edges setting is ignored", right?
