i.MX28 NAND CRC failed at low temperature

Hi,

I tested NAND boot for our iMX283 product at low temperature then boot failed about 1/80 set.
Error code was "0x8050100b" which means "Load command payload CRC failed".
Is there anyone can help?

(Q) Does it mean CRC of read data during LDR instruction period failed? Why this fail happen?

(Q) Which part of i.MX28 detect CRC fail? BCH hardware or software?

(Q) How can I avoid this CRC fail?

Hi torus1000

error message 0x8050100b may mean presence of

NAND bad block. It may be recommended update NAND timings

and rewrite NAND with flash_eraseall,  kobs-ng , e.t.c.

Also this may be related to this particular NAND part

(it may be weared out), so one can try fresh new NAND.
