Dear I.mxRT1020 support,

I have a question, GPIO default Setting for RT1020.
What does the keeper setting in the datasheet mean? Fig1
We don't want all GPIO to be floating at boot up sequence?Fig2

Hi @willy_lu

I hope that you are doing great!

Keeper means that the pin will keep  the logic level it had before going to reset. Let's put this scenario.

If the pin was an output high during program execution. After the reset it will be an input, but pulled by a very weak internal resistor. The same concept applies if it was low.

But also, if you apply 3.3v  to your pin, after reset it will be pulled up

I hope this could help you.

Diego.
