YOCTO Distro choice

Hi,

I'm using a IMX6SLL on a custom board for displaying map information on an EPD and I'm working on the customization of the Yocto recipe for the embedded Linux.

I don't know what DISTRO should I use between X11, Wayland and FB for my board. What are the differences between them? Is one of them more suitable for 2D display on an EPD?

Hello vlintilhac,

You can use the fsl-image-qt5 for using EPD and for usage if the 2D processor, and try to follow the i.MX Yocto project user guide on your documentation note, in this document have the differences between the backend available:
