I am planning to buy below board for AVB development purpose:

1. MCIMX6QAICPU2

2. IMXAI2ETH-BRC

Q. Will I get driver for "IMXAI2ETH-BRC" daughter board?

Q. whether it supports HW Timestamping?

Q. What is the chipset used in this board?

Q. If I want to use another stack for gPTP, will this board provide PHC ptp clock to user application ?

please reply ASAP, we are planning to demo our solution on this board.

Q. Will I get driver for "IMXAI2ETH-BRC" daughter board?

ANSWER.  Yes the driver it is available in the Latest BSP for the SABRE AI board.  But if you are planning to use for AVB you need to consider that AVB support it is not available you need to sign an NDA with NXP to get the access, and may have some loyaltys

Q. If I want to use another stack for gPTP, will this board provide PHC ptp clock to user application ?

ANSWER.  No

Q1. This seems a switch chipset, can you tell me which chipset is used in add on card IMXAI2ETH-BRC which has only 1 Ethernet port.

Q2. Whether same chipset will be used in this board also?

Q. If I want to use another stack for gPTP, will this board provide PHC ptp clock to user application ?

Q1. if we want to use the hardware timestamping provided by IMXAI2ETH-BRC board, can we use LinuxPTP /Aricent PTP stack for it for evaluation purpose?

Q2. Will the driver for IMXAI2ETH-BRC board provides handling of /dev/ptp interface ?
