Which gstreamer plugin for iMX(8) is better ?

Dear All,

I'm a little confused of which gstreamer-imx plugin that is most suitable for iMX8MM/iMX8MP board that I have. Concretely :

From Freescale repository, there's recent v2 branch that supports iMX8M, iMX8MM platforms : https://github.com/Freescale/gstreamer-imx

From NXP's Code Aurora repositories :
https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/imx-gst1.0-plugin/
https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/gst1.0-plugins-fsl/

Both have "i.MX Gstreamer 1.0 Plugin" in description.  

I would like then which one is better to be used with the following documentation :

The Gstreamer in the official is gstreamer 1.0 and comes from:

https://source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/imx-gst1.0-plugin/

You can find the documentation in the release notes and linux reference manual on your yocto BSP documents, for usage you can use the community.
