Using python in i.MX6Q based SBC

Hi,

I am working on a project that will be using SBC, and one of the candidates that we're evaluating is the Winsystem SBC-C398Q which is using i.MX6Q as its main processor.

As I am kind of new to embedded linux, I have the following questions:

1. Do you have sample codes that we can use for programming the i.MX6Q peripherals (e.g. I2C, CAN, UART, SPI, etc.)?

2. Does i.MX6Q have python support for these peripherals? We are probably going to use python in writing our network programming application and it will be helpful if we could also use python in controlling the peripherals.

Thanks,

Mary

Hello marysayson,

We have the proper documentation where all these module and test sample code come with Linux BSP in yocto documentation.

https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software/embedded-linux-for-i-mx-applicat...

But you will have to see with your vendor since all these codes are for MX6Q-SD and you have different board.

Regards
