I'm wondering if it is ok to just use two byte group or one ddr3 IC connected to imx6sl processer? I want to only have 2GB ram for my board and I want to use a single chip for it, instead of 2x1GB.

Hi Tingam

yes one can use 16 bit configuration MMDC_MDCTL, DSIZ=0 16-bit data bus,

as two byte group or one ddr3 IC connected to imx6sl processer.

Best regards

igor
