USB type-C (Flashing port) change to USB 3.0

Hi.

I will change the i.MX8M Plus evk's USB type-C (flashing port) to USB 3.0. Any software need to change/modify, please provide steps on it? If change to USB 3.0, the UUU flashing tool still able to use ? Thanks

do you mean usb 3.0 port 1? this is usb 3.0 dual role port, you can use it for downloading without change SW, for HW design, pls refer to the Table 30. i.MX 8M Plus USB strapping recommendations and chapter 3.7 USB connectivity of Hardware design guide

Yup, USB type-C (Port 1). Because i will change it to USB type-A 3.0, so may i know what is the software changes needed and will it impact the image flashing via UUU tool ? Thanks

For software part, require to remove the USB type-C configuration on u-boot and also the DTS file. Am i correct ?
