USB Test Packets for USB-IF Compliance Testing

Hello,

     I just wanted some clarification on how the Test Packets are generated for USB Compliance testing (USB 2.0 Specifications 7.1.20) for a device (IE the IMX6-SL is the Device).   From what I gathered the controller sends the test packets so I would like to confirm that I do not need to write the any code to create and send this test packet?

for description of setting usb test modes one can look at

sect.34.10 Testing the device mode  iMX6_Firmware_Guide.pdf

included in i.MX 6Series Platform SDK
