Sabre_lite(imx6 Quad) private timer frequency

Dear all,

I am very much confused about private timer frequency for ARM Cortex A9. If any one could tell me the exact frequency on which local timer is operating. And is there any method during run time to read the private timer frequency? Also if we can change private timer frequency? And i am not using linux kernel, using baremeat application writing from the scratch.
