Hi,
We are taking 720x1280 or 1080x1920 input image from our camera. After encode the image we want output resolution to be 1280x720 or 1920x1080. Is there any restriction in resolution when we rotate the input image 90 or 270 degree using i.MX6 VPU?

Kind regards,

Cigdem

As we want to record encoded file and will display it on another media, I need to rotate before encode. From "i.MX VPU Application Programming Interface Linux® Reference Manual " Rev. 0, 03/2016 Section 4.4.2.2, I understand that it is possible to rotate using VPU. I can rotate images 90 or 270 degree with resolution up to 720x720 without any problem. I am getting error for 720p and 1080p. Does VPU support 90 degree rotation for these resolutions?

Kind regards,

Çiğdem
