Remote desktop on iMX93EVK

Does the iMX93 support running a headless Wayland remote desktop through freeRDP or any other means, if so, what is the recommendation.

Hello,
I am using the i.MX Linux Yocto Project BSP 6.1.1_1.0.0 Release and building the "imx-image-multimedia" image.
freeRDP was added to the build however I'm running into this error while booting:
[FAILED] Failed to start Weston, a …mpositor, as a system service.

To be clear, this error is generated with or without my changes.

Please let me know if I need to provide any additional information.

can you try our newest released bsp to see if this problem is still or not. I see that your board is boot up well, and I am not sure if it related to the hardware in your hand, I will go to office to test it on our EVK board next week

I didn't get a chance to try the new BSP however, I did remove X11 from the Yocto build and was able to run the remote desktop. I will try the new BSP and report back when I get a chance.

Hello again,

I finally got the chance to upgrade to the 6.1.22_2.0.0 release and ran into the same issue where the freeRDP remote desktop does not work when including X11 and does work once X11 is removed. X11 is needed for a variety of demos however we also would like to use the remote desktop feature.

Would it be possible for someone on your end to try adding the remote desktop and report back. This is an important feature that we can't do without and would like to find a solution.
