Reboot problem on IMX6q with kernel 4.1

Hi all, I'm using kernel 4.1 from yocto krogoth on an IMX6q board.

When i ask for the reboot, the board is not rebooted. After invastigation it appears that restart function in the DT_MACHINE_START have been suppressed, so there is no more restart function.

Can anyone tell me how IMX6q boards can still be resetted ?

Why was this function suppressed in last kernel ?

Hi Christian!

Did you resolve this issue? I have the same problem with a 4.9.11 kernel. I've added the 'mxc_restart' method to the DT_MACHINE_START table but reboot is still not working... Did you get it working?

Hello,

   please use NXP Linux.  Linux command  "reboot" works.
Also, You may apply "shutdown -r 0".
