Hi,

I am using RTC PCF85263 in our i.Mx8 M Mini board. I am always getting the below error when date setting at the time of booting.

[ 12.483309] rtc-pcf85263 0-0051: No century in NVRAM - assume 2000
[ 12.491758] rtc-pcf85263 0-0051: Oscillator stop detected, date/time is not reliable.
[ 12.499730] rtc-pcf85263 0-0051: rtc core: registered rtc-pcf85263 as rtc0
[ 12.506619] rtc-pcf85263 0-0051: PCF85263 RTC (irqpin=INTA irq=139)
[ 12.513875] snvs_rtc 30370000.snvs:snvs-rtc-lp: rtc core: registered 30370000.snvs:snvs-rtc-lp as rtc1
[ 14.736322] rtc-pcf85263 0-0051: Oscillator stop detected, date/time is not reliable.
[ 14.744164] rtc-pcf85263 0-0051: hctosys: unable to read the hardware clock

This error will not come when we write the date and try to read the same. The steps which I followed

1. Set current date using "date -s" command

2. hwclock -w

3. hwclock

Issue observed :

If I try to set future date from current date , it is getting set but if I try to set past date from current date , it is not getting set after every reboot

Any configuration is required for solving the issue ?

Please provide the input for the same

Thank you,

Regards,

Deeksha
