Quad SPI boot on iMX7D

Hello,

As far as I could understand Quad SPI block supports 2 Quad SPI interfaces with 2 Chip selects for each one of them. Overall 4 serial devices can be used. My question is how specific Quad SPI device is configured as a boot source?

Hello Yuri,

The QuadSPI boot configuration can be found in section 6.6.6 of the i.MX7D Reference Manual. You can set it using the GPIO boot configuration or set it up on fuses.

I've read QuadSPI boot configuration section and I understand that it can be set up by using fuses or GPIOs. The only question is how to select specific QuadSPI device from 2 connected devices. In section 10.2.1.2.1 QuadSPI Normal Mode of Operation it is stated that 2 external flashes can be accessed.
