Good afternoon all

I've just been looking through the imx6*.dtsi files in the arch/arm/boot/dts directory of kernel 3.14.28 and have noticed a few differences between the operating points that are stated. I've tabulated them for ease and highlighted the differences in red.

DSTI file – Voltage operating points (uV)
Speed (Khz)imx6q.dtsiimx6dl.dtsiimx6sl.dtsiimx6sx.dtsi

DSTI file – Voltage fsl,soc-operating points (uV)
Speed (Khz)imx6q.dtsiimx6dl.dtsiimx6sl.dtsiimx6sx.dtsi

3960001175000117500011750001175000
1980001175000

Questions:

1) Please could "someone in the know" comment on the variation of the operating point voltages?

2) Also, please could someone confirm the maximum safe value to enter for these operating point values?

Many thanks

Hi Adrian

operating points are described in datasheets

Table 6. Operating Ranges i.MX6DQ Datasheet (rev.4, 7/2015)

Table 8. Operating Ranges i.MX6SDL Datasheet (rev.5, 6/2015)

Table 11. Operating ranges i.MX6SX Datasheet (rev.1, 9/2015)

Thanks Igor, I'll be sure to keep the values below 1.3V

Are you able to comment on the variation of the values used in the dtsi files?
