Does I.MX6 support Auto Focus Drivers for OV5640 (Omni vision) Camera Module for Android Platform ?

where i can download the same if available ?

Yes our Android release offers basic auto-focus support for both OV5640 and OV5642:

By  basic auto focus, do you mean triggered auto focus?(by tapping on the screen ?) . Is the continuous auto focus implemented in the above mentioned code ?

So basically the marshmallow release has the continuous auto focus support , but the support should be present in the device ?

Hi,

Yes exactly. Android sends a message requesting the continuous focus but this needs to be translated in the HAL into an ioctl that the device driver understands. Right now it doesn't exist in the driver.

Yes that is what I mean, tap-triggered auto-focus let's say. As far as I know, the Omnivision doesn't support the continuous auto focus. Maybe you should contact Omnivision to know more about it.
