OPENGLES 3.0 support for imx6

Hi,

I am not sure whether OPENGLES3.0 is supported for imx6 Dual core. When I build with Yocto I see only es20 folder under /opt/viv_samples/ folder. Has anyone used OPENGLES3.0 with Vivante?

Hello Ganesan,

Unfortunately the i.MX6 Family does not support OPENGLES 3.0  at least not with Hardware Accelerated. This means the GPU it is not prepared at this moment to support OpenGLES 3.0 .  But we are planning to have the i.MX8 which it is going to have this support.
