Any plans to go for Kernel 4.0. Most of the vendors are taking baseline as vanilla kernel 4.0.

There are no plans of a software release using kernel 4.0 at least for this year (2015). You could be aware of additional releases on i.MX webpage at www.freescale.com/imx
