Hello nxp team,
My question is about getting images from sensor IMX686.
I use UCM-iMX8M-Plus Evaluations-Kit by Compulab and I built linux system from compulab git https://github.com/compulab-yokneam/meta-bsp-imx8mp/tree/kirkstone-2.2.0
I prepared driver for imx686 based on sources for imx219.
Unfortunately I have not found examples how can I prepared files like imx219.drv and IMX219_8Mi_02_1080p_linear.xml to correct work of the isp_media_server.
Could you guide me where can I find information to prepare .drv and .xml files for IMX686?
Can I get raw images without ISP ?

Hi @mateh,
Those files are generated by tools provided by company partners. You can contact Basler or contact with our NXP Pro Support service.

Regarding your question about the RAW Image without ISP. It depends on the interface for MIPI CSI the RAW data is directly connected with ISP.
@brian14 Thank you for your answer.
Can I get image from sensor without .drv and .xml ISP files? Is it possible to generate these files with default settings? Just for testing work of the sensor.
Hello Mateh,
You can contact me privately for consultation regarding ISP driver integration.
