Dear Sir

Customer is considering to mount a heat sink on i.MX6DL.

How is the allowable tightening torque to fix the heat sink?

Best Regards,

Eishi SHIBUSAWA

for heat sink questions on i.mx6 , pls refer to the  "i.MX 6 Series Thermal Management Guidelines" Application Note:
http://www.nxp.com/assets/documents/data/en/application-notes/AN4579.pdf
for thermal estimations implementation.

Dear Joan Xie

Thank you for your reply.

I refer to AN 4579, but I cannot find the statement for mounting condition of the heat sink.

For example, in the LS 1021A, the AN4878 has the following description. (P78 Table 72)

"Ensure the spring force does not exceed 15 pounds force (65 Newtons)."

Please tell me the mounting conditions of i.MX6DL.

Best Regards,
