Dear Sir/Madam,

Hello,

We have a project with I.MX6 dual/quad core processor which we use PF0100 F0 as PMIC. For USB I have another 5 volts supply already and therefore I don't want to populate SWBST components in PCB. Does it cause stability problems to PF0100 F0?

Thanks and best regards.

Mehmet Ali

Hi Mehmet Ali,

You should check out the following document:

http://cache.freescale.com/files/analog/doc/app_note/AN4717.pdf

For every pin, there is a column for "Recommended connection when not used".

For your specific question, it says in the document:

44 - SWBSTFB --> Leave floating

45 - SWBSTIN --> Connect to VIN

46 - SWBSTLX --> Leave floating

Best regards,

Durmuş
