Hello,
I'm trying to use the secure boot features for an i.MX RT1024, and I found two tools that seem kind of redundant to each other and I want to understand their differences.
If someone please could clarify which path (NXP Mcu Boot Utility or MCUxpresso Secure Provisioning) should I follow... In my opinion, if one of those tools is redundant, maybe it should be deprecated in favour of the best of them, as it is confusing to have two applications for apparently the same.
Thanks in advance!
Hi cgarcia1
Hi @cgarcia1
The official tool is https://www.nxp.com/design/software/development-software/mcuxpresso-software-and-tools-/mcu-bootload..., and https://www.nxp.com/design/software/development-software/mcuxpresso-software-and-tools-/mcuxpresso-s..., and even though this isn't official (https://github.com/JayHeng/NXP-MCUBootUtility) but is very good app.
Bests Regards
