MMPF0100F0EP reprogrammability

Hi,

We are using Freescale PMIC Part number MMPF0100F0EP in our project.

It is a pre-programmed device. We are planning to reprogram again using I2C interface.

Please Let us know whether PMIC part number MMPF0100F0EP can be reprogrammed using I2C interface.

Hi Vinod Kumar,

Yes, it is totally possible to re-program the MMPF0100 devices using I2C interface, it can be “OTP (One Time Programming) programmable” or “TBB (Try Before Buy) programmable”. All the instructions about how to do this is mentioned in the application note AN4536

Just be advice that it is possible to program bits which are “0” to “1”. But if they are already pre-programmed with “1” on the fuses, they cannot be changed to “0”.
