MMA8451 and Android 9 HAL

Hello,

we are trying to connect a MMA8451 accelerometer to a i.MX8 powered board running Android 9.

The kernel driver is working and we can see the output from the getevent tool, but can't get Android HAL see the accelerometer.

How are the steps to configure the Android HAL ?
