MINISASTOCSI MIPI camera not working with Android on i.MX8M Quad EVK

Hello,

I'm trying to use MINISASTOCSI MIPI camera with NXP IMX8M Quad EVK on Android.

The Android version is: 8.1.0 1.3.0-rfp-rc3 20180406.

The camera is no working and the camera app is closing directly after I confirm the location question in the app.

In the Quick Start Guide for MINISASTOCSI for i.MX 8M Evaluation Kit no futher information for Android are described.

• Is for Android any configuration required?
• How can I check that the camera is working?

We use a HDMI monitor. 

Why the camera doesn't work together with the HDMI monitor?

I have download the Demo Images – i.MX 8MQuad EVK again with the MGFTool. The download was successful, but the camera don't work.

I checked internally, there are no known issues with camera in linux/android.

One can try to test hardware using links

i.MX8M Camera commands

there is limitation for camera described in Table 2. Features attached Release Notes p.3

"OV5640. Camera cannot co-work with MIPI Display due to the I2C address conflict."

Also one can consider fsl-imx8mq-evk-mipi-csi2.dtb in mfg tools:
