Line discipline for UART4 on IMX53 START-R

Hi everyone,

    I am newbie to embedded. What is line discipline for uart4 on imx53start-r platform ?

    I am using Android ICS build from linaro.

    Actually what is importance of line discipline, and how can it be used or modified to start or stop uart4.

    A complete explanation wrt imx53 will be helpful.

I think you can take a look the Linux BSP reference manual first. Chapter 4 is the UART driver (in mx53_start_linux.pdf). You can download the document from here:
