Hi NXP and Community friends!

I would like yo know about the life-cycle information about the iMX6ULL SoC NXP part number: MCIMX6Y7CVM08AB . I have some concerns about using this part (is classified as the consumer product degree in Junction temperature ) for my product which is supposed to have 10 years of lifecycle. I would appreciate you could giving me confirmation on lifecycle about the part is also 10 years. thanks.

Hello Musadjan Alim,

If you are interested in the lifetime of the i.M6ULL please check Application Note 5337 (link below)  which covers this topic. The consumer part numbers usually have an expected lifetime of 5 years at 50% duty cycle.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN5337.pdf

The part number with the longest lifetime would be Industrial grade part numbers, as you will see on the charts of this application note.

I hope this helps!

Regards,
