I am having aroud 400ms latency issue with I.MX6 device.
Using Android kitkat, with miracast, H264 Open MAX decoder. Kernel version 3.10.
Have already tried the following methods:
1. Have checked by enabling VPU_352M parameter in kernel, no difference in latency.
2. Modified and checked wifi parameters and enabled 5Ghz further.
Needed help to reduce the latency on firmware Linux encoder decoder side or Android Framework Side.
Hi Igor
Thank you for the post. It seems that he is having the same issue as me. There is not much response on the same.
Requesting if you could help more with the same.
Regards
Rajvi
Thank you for your reply. But following both the posts does not solve my issue. I am still getting latency 300-400ms.
I read a few posts related to this, and found that latency depends on
num_reorder_frames, max_dec_frame_buffering,
num_ref_frames, MaxDpbSize. Can you help me debug further into this. And help in modifying the parameter values.
Nitrogen 6X -- large streaming delay.
We won't be able to have commercial production if this does not get solved. Requesting if help be provided on urgent basis.
Hi Rajvi
for vpu latencies one can look at

in general miracast is supported with Professional Services
Best regards
