Could someone help me with the LTIB for iMX28?
I'm using Ubuntu12.04 and I'm getting some error with rpm-fs.

As Otavio pointed out I would recommend you take a look at Yocto. I was able to get the Yocto build system running on Ubuntu 12.04 without issue. Just follow the Yocto Quick Start guide. The meta-fsl-arm build for the MX53 built without issue and booted right up. I plan on testing the MX28 soon as well.
Yes; it is very easy to build ready to use images and it is also very flexible.
For iMX28 we have ready to use linux-3.7 with most hw supported so it might be good to test as well.
Hello Gláuber ,
I would often find that LTIB would fail because I needed to install a required package. After installing the missing package LTIB would fail as you saw because it refused to overwrite a file it had created on the previous attempt. Just delete the entire LTIB created file structure and start from scratch.
I am not a LTIB user but a Yocto developer and I'd like to ask you to give a try in Yocto. It provides full support for newer host distributions and has a very updated software stack. We have add support for mx28evk and it should be easy for you to give it a try.
You can check more at Freescale/fsl-community-bsp-platform · GitHub as it has a small documentation how to start. If you want to learn more about Yocto itself you can learn more at https://www.yoctoproject.org/documentation/current.
