when you use ./ltib -c, you can find the toolchain in the menu, what toolchain did you use? the default one? I couldn't reproduce your issue on my side, I build the bsp successfully, I used ubuntu 14.04

Yes. I am using 10.4 ubuntu

kamp@kamp-desktop:~/ltib/ltib-p1021mds-20101122$ cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

I have installed all the required packages(from Setting_Up_LTIB_host.pdf)  and still could see this issue.
