Keyboard problem when debugging imx 8 quad x

Hi iMX champ

I am currently using imx8 qaud x.
I am downloading SW using a type-c cable in download mode and booting with a serial cable in emmc mode.
The keyboard did not work while checking debugging in tera term.
The keyboard works when both the serial cable and type-c cable are connected, but the keyboard does not work when only the serial cable is connected.
How can I solve it?

Hello,

Could you share a bit more information, which MEK board revision are you using?
Also, which BSP version are you using for your test?

I have tried on my side SCH-29683 REV C2, Linux 5.15.52-2.1.0 and couldn't reproduce your issue. I can interact with serial terminal no matter if USB Type-C is connected or not.
